Hello to all the future Applicants for the January 17' nursing program. I know it's really early and August admission process hasn't been completed yet but I couldn't help my self. I'm so anxious to get in the program it took me a long time to get to this point. I have completed all the pre reqs that have an affect on your gpa and I have a 3.0. I recently just passed the Hesi for the second try with a 76% in anatomy, 92% in math and 80% in the other 3 sections. I'm in MGF1106 right now grades will post early Aug. so I'm going to turn in the Application right after that. I hope this forum can be used for all us to get through this waiting process together.
Hi Jade94, thank you, I really appreciated it! I'm not sure which campus I'm going to attend tbh. I've been debating it. I live closer to south but honestly might consider going to central which isn't that much further away or even north because I heard good things about it and in some of the other threads I read. I had a friend graduate from the program in May and she went to south, she felt like the program was brutal and had to retract once. I think the program is going to be the same at every campus but I just want the best clearest instructors even if they're the "toughest". Which campus are you planning to attend?
Hi
I also applied for January 2017!!! I have a GPA of 3.72 and my HESI score was 90%. I am very nervous though. I applied 2 weeks ago and on mybc it still says N/A under payment, hesi score etc. has anyone else's limited seat application updated? even though i applied in person i am freaking out.
If you have a 3.2 or higher you should be fine. Your hesi score may not even come it to play, all you have to do is pass it. I was an alternate for August with a 3.0 and hesi of 94% and unfortunately did not get in. This was the first time 3.0s did not get in. Each application process is different, so there is no guarantee that you will get in with a 3.0 or lower. Just stay positive and hope for the best. If you have handed in your application you need not worry about the N/A, you need to give it time to update. Just keep an eye on your email at the end of this month. Stay positive no matter what. You have all worked hard, so be proud of yourselves no matter the outcome.
