Hello!
I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
I just finished taking my certifications on CEUFAST.COM.Aids/Hiv 4 hours
Medical Errors and Risk Management 2 hours
Tuberculosis 2 hours
Infection Control & Barrier Precautions 4 hours
Hepatitis C beyong the basics 2.5 hours
Domestic Violence, sexual violence, intimate partner violence 3 hours
OSHA 2 hours
Florida Law and rules that govern the practice of nursing 3 hours
are these okay? Does anybody know? those are the only ones I could find, I saw some of the hours were a bit different so it's making me a bit nervous. If anybody knows I would greatly appreciate it!
I'm curious about this too. I've gotten started but I'd like to be sure.
For Central Campus:
ceufast.com IS accredited by the Florida Department of Nursing and DOES have an ID number.
I emailed Dr. Johnson to verify the courses accepted and she confirmed.
The courses are as follows:
Aids/HIV, 4 contact hours
Domestic Violence, Sexual Violence, Intimate Partner Violence, 3 hours
Florida Law and Rules that Govern the Practice of Nursing, 3 hours
Hepatitis C, Beyond the basics, 2.5 hours
Infection Control, Barrier Precautions, 4 hours
Medical Errors and Risk Management, 2 hours
** Dr. Johnson explained to me that the OSHA, and Tuberculosis courses are NOT needed because they ARE covered in the Infection Control course.
I hope this clarifies any confusion!

Thanks for the info. I also just emailed Dr. Stauffer about it, for South Campus. She said she'll be sending out an email about certificates should anyone decide to use ceufast. ☺
I am so happy, I just finish all my certification for nursing school, got my physical today and now just waiting for result. The best news I just have to say it again I got into south campus the campus I waned to go too. It feels like dream come true making it this far. I know I have difficult road ahead but this my dream to be a nurse.
