Broward College Nursing Program August 2016

Hello!

I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.

I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)

My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)

I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.

Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?

I am so happy, I just finish all my certification for nursing school, got my physical today and now just waiting for result. The best news I just have to say it again I got into south campus the campus I waned to go too. It feels like dream come true making it this far. I know I have difficult road ahead but this my dream to be a nurse.

I got into south campus too.my certification are done only my CPR i will get it on monday at Nursing Unlimited.I contacted south campus about CEUFast they are OK with it.The only thing my HSC1149 class is on Thursday but i wanted Monday it was already full when i registered this morning (8:20am) lol

Hi. At Nursing Unlimited you'll get the American Heart Association card they were describing at preadmissions? Is it a better price? Sorry for all the questions - I was just gonna do it through the school but I haven't thought of other options lol.

Yes it will be the AHA one.the price is $85 +$18.19 for book for first time student.

$52 for renewal.its $100 at the school.

Hi I went to the website and clicked AHA classes. Then I clicked "BLS for Healthcare Providers - Initial Provider Course" and it takes you to a list of days available to take the course.

CPR can be done at Paramount Training service (on Oakland Park) for $45.
