Broward College Nursing Program August 2016

Updated:   Published

Hello!

I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.

I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)

My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)

I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.

Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?

I am so nervous ! :woot: Time is moving so slow lol

I know the thought that it can change any minute is so exciting and nerve wrecking lol

No I have him after lecture

Where do you sit in class usually?

Haha I got excited when I read the first part "current status" on Sciencediva's post. I was like yes finally then I read the rest :sorry: Lol. Well hopefully our status will change soon, fingers crossed.

This is torture :(

I mean I don't mind driving 15 minutes extra knowing that I go to the hospital that I like.

You need to mind.

Your first semester, you will spend (close to) every waking moment in class or in the nursing lab. Most instructors are very strict in reference to time and attendance. Those 15 minutes could be the difference between remaining in class and retracking. Be smart. All three campuses teach the same courses, we simply go to different hospitals. We have the same policies. Students are entitled to the same scholarships. Do not believe the gossip or the lies - please ask someone who knows, like Nichole - during preorientation. Do not set yourself up for failure before your start.

This is torture!! :nailbiting:
