Broward College Nursing Program August 2016

Updated:   Published

Hello!

I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.

I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)

My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)

I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.

Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?

I'm so excited we will be finding out soon if we are accepted. I can't wait! I'm celebrating as soon as I find out by buying school supplies. :) I can't wait for the group study sessions and clinicals.

HAHA BEST way to celebrate!

If only 6/15 meant that it would automatically update by midnight HAHA. Now, I'll be refreshing my page tmw a zillion times until it changes.

Omg I know!! I will be doing the same haha

Same here I'm going to be at work refreshing my phone like every second I wonder if it will get updated morning or like around this time ?

Yes, definitely the best way to celebrate :) haha. I as well will be checking nonstop my status. I already have been today in case we were to get lucky enough to get the status update today and tomorrow emails. A girl can dream right? :)

It will not be first thing in the morning.

It will not be first thing in the morning.

I know you're all working hard, but is there a time frame at all?

What is the process for choosing a campus? Can you immediately choose after you have been accepted? or do you wait until orientation? is there any type of organization involved in choosing, such as basing it on the number of points? any insight would be helpful.

Basically when they open up registration for classes for everyone, you choose your campus then by choosing the classes at that campus so its first come first serve.. Once those classes are full you have to try at a different campus

I have not been productive at all today because I am so nervous. Then the stress starts all over again picking the campus I want to get into omg. Why is this day going so slowly my fingers hurt from checking myBC. I am hoping to get into South Campus, I look at the distance between Central and South and Central is closer but my deal breaker was the hospital you get to do Clinical.

What hospital does south do clinicals is it the memorial hospital by pembroke lakes mall ?

You don't pick the campus until AFTER orientation, like Nichole said you're not accepted into a certain campus you're accepted into the BC RN program, it's up to u which campus you want and being quick with your fingers In picking classes after registration has opened.
