Broward College Nursing Program August 2016

Updated:   Published

Hello!

I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.

I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)

My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)

I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.

Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?

Okay thank you kingrn2018

No problem! My friend is in the nursing program now and she said that's how it was for her & she just started in May

Oh okay so we would have to pay out of pocket to keep out spot worse case scenario

Basically..but then again we may pick our classes and then I'm sure we have a deadline to pay for them so maybe financial aid will be in before then it just really depends.

same with me for financial aid, still no status. im sure by fall we will get something. i expected to pay out of pocket at least some.

Nichole when we receive the email with the date and time does that tell us what campus to go to or can we choose ?

The orientations are scheduled at one campus only. It is not the campus you will be attending, just the campus with the room availability we needed for that day.

Thank you so much !

I can't believe this is it guys tomorrow we are all going to be glued to our emails and application status I know I am the second I wake up !! Lol we're so close

so how and when will the campus be selected?

We will go over all of that in pre-admissions. Basically, when registration opens, you are competing for a seat on the campus you want to attend.

We do not assign campuses, nor does where you turned in your application have any significance. When you applied, you applied to the RN program, not a specific campus. There is a seat in the program for everyone who is accepted; just may not be the campus you want to attend.

It's going to be like Hunger Games (even though I don't watch those movies), everyone competing for a seat in their desired campus :bookworm:

Who will be attending South Campus? ????
