I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
According to advising you must finish all prerequisites before applying, there's no other way around this. If you are applying for January Term, I'd see an adviser & apply as soon as your math grade posts. Don't stress, you got this.
I know my application didn't get lost. I was just making light of the situation with a joke. Everyone is anxious about whether they got in or not, however there may be a little more anxiety for people that don't have their application in the system at all. The mind starts to think all sorts of crazy stuff, hence the fallen app hidden behind the trash can scenario. I figured I wasn't the only one thinking these crazy thoughts. The wait is hard in any case. We will all find out soon. All we can do is stay busy and hope the days pass quickly.
5 more days guys we can do this I'm sure everyone's application that hasn't updated will today lets keep our fingers crossed all we have to wait it 5 more days !!! Hopefully sooner lol
I have been thinking exactly the same thing, when you want it so bad everything crosses your mind what if that is me. I am thinking even worst scenarios maybe they misplace mines with other papers lol. At first I though I was the only one but I feel your pain, I didn't contact them yet I am waiting till 15 I will know if something is wrong with my application other wise I hoping today is the day I will see something.

Hey Nichole by any chance do you know usually how long after acceptance is orientation? I was wondering because I'm going out of the country so I want to see how many days I can go without missing orientation in the case I get in ofcourse.

I don't have a date yet. Normally it is within a few weeks after acceptance emails are sent.
So for those of you who have yet to receive and update on your Limited Access Application. Has anything changed ? I keep refreshing my email to see if I get an update. But I haven't. I hope this doesn't come in the way of being a candidate to be accepted into the program for August on June 15th.
Nothing happen yet for me, I have been checking every half an hour. I think maybe we will know by the end of the day. I am hoping it doesn't have anything to do with it, my grades are pretty good plus Hesi scores. I think it's just that they have a lot of applications and I am just one of those that are pending.
I'm hoping they're updating the status as the review them so when they get to yours they'll update yours and so on, remember they're reviewing until the 15th and there's A lot of people
