Hello!
I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
North is awesome. Very tough. Not alot of people passed the physical assessment checkoff...they had to do a mandatory extra 2hrs I'm the lab.
Some people didn't pass return demo over small things (that are actually big things), like washing the wrong leg first, not making a bed properly, not knowing what adventitious sounds are in the lungs, etc.

its going to be tough regardless of the campus. It's people's lives we are dealing with , so I'm not worried about it, if you're focused then you're good
I've heard that getting in is easy as long as you had good grades on pre reqs and passed the hesi. They accept almost everyone, the problem is not getting in its staying in. My friend got in for the May program and she said it's really tough a lot of information, and for the math portion no calculators are allowed for dosage calculations.
The statement that almost everyone gets in is INCORRECT. Last semester there were over 100 students who applied and were eligible that DID NOT get accepted. The lowest GPA that was accepted was a 3.0. Students with a 2.9 were our alternates.
It is a competitive admission and for August it will be no different.

how are the decisions coming along? Will we still know by the 15th or earlier?
