I just wanted to make a thread for nursing program at BC for this coming Fall semester.
I passed the Hesi last week after 4 days of studying. (Got tired of studying the Elvesier book so I took my chances)
My overall score: 85%. My lowest score's reading: 78% ( English is my second language and I took this section last so didn't have enough time to really read the questions)
I turned in my application last Wednesday. The lady said to look for an email around May- June.
Anyone is applying for Fall? Did your status on myBC change yet?
Oh that's weird. Maybe they haven't finished calculating it yet. Do you know what your gpa is? They only count your A&P 1&2 lecture and lab and your Enc1101 to get your gpa. I know minimum you need a 2.5 gpa to meet the requirements. What is your gpa?
im confused because my transfer gpa is 2.82 but the broward accum is 2.49 and my honors/accum gpa is 2.52 and someone said for the honors it cant be less than 2.0
but if i didnt meet the requirements i would i assume i would have been told not to apply and the adviser wouldnt have said i shouldnt have a problem
I have no idea on that. All you have to do to to calculate your gpa is add up your points A=4 B=3 C=2 so add for each class up your points only for A&P 1&2 for both lecture and lab and ENC1101 add all of them up using the point system I gave you and then divide by 5 which is the amount of classes in total they are counting which are the ones I told you. That will give you your gpa for nursing pre reqs. An example would be 4+3+3+4+2= 16/5= 3.2 so that would be the person's gpa.
Yea you include it. You just don't add credit the number that you add is the points equivalent to the letter grade you earned. So if in lab you received an A and lecture a B you add 4+3 and so on until you add all the classes I told you about and then divide that number by 5 which is the amount of classes.
