Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?
I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.
Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

I would say get a hesi book or quizlet. Especially the vocab section is pretty specific on the word bank they choose.

hey! I used the Evolve book as a study guide. Its really good preparation, especially for the MATH, READING, and, GRAMMAR! It covers a good amount of vocab but you may want to use quizlet or something for that. As for the Anatomy & Physiology part. I have a really good A&P background, I didn't have to study much.. so I'm not sure what to advise for that. But the subject is so broad and the questions are so random that I don't even know what to tell you to focus on. Maybe you should get an A&P review book.. idk lol. The A&p is not ridiculously hard tho, so don't worry too much.

Yes, I used the same books Evolve & Admission, I had good results, except for Grammar I had to try twice to meet the minimum required.
I know I can't take the waiting anymore either and I went into the nursing department last week to ask them why my status still says denied-pending department approval and they were ride and told me not to worry about it that it will change when they view my form. I turned my application in 3 weeks ago so I am annoyed that it still hasn't changed to application in review. I think that we should have an answer by the time spring break is over though because the library is closed all break and that means that nobody can take the hesi during that week so maybe they will admit people

If you don't want to do it or second guessing it or doing it just for the money. . . Please walk away now. . Don't take away a spot in the program from someone who is passionate about being a compassionate nurse and by walking away now, you not only will be doing yourself a favor but you will also be doing the patients and other nurses a favor as well. . .
