Broward College Nursing May 2014

Published

Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

If anyone needs immunizations walgreens does them and with my insurance it is free! Good to know when others were quoting me $160 for MMR!

publix does as well.

Mandatory Nursing Orientation:

North Campus - May 6

Central Campus - April 29

South Campus - May 9

Where did you get those orientation dates?i wanted to get north campus orientation date.anyone know anything about books and supplies yet?

I finally changed to accepted as well!!!! So far I have received the email from south campus, but not any other campus. I cant wait to see what the schedule will be for those campuses because that will really help me decided where I want to be.

North and central info was given at the 1pm orientation last Tuesday and south info through email.

From my understanding rubeola is the measles one of the Ms in MMR lol. (The other is mumps) And even if you need only one it's fine to get the combo vaccine. I'm going to get mine tomorrow so please let me know if it's something else !

What hospitals do you all do your clinicals at for Central? How are the professors there? I keep hearing mixed information on Central.

Central goes to broward health, memorial cleveland and plantation general

Do u get to pick your clinical hospital? That would be really cool
