Broward College Nursing May 2014

Published

Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

I dont see why we have to redo our vaccines if we have recently gotten them. Vaccines are expensive not to mention $120 for fingerprinting and background check, plus uniforms and everything else under the sun.

You don't have to redo them. The lady told me the proof of vaccination is okay if it's within the last ten years. But then at orientation they said they wanted the titers anyway. Either way the titers are less expensive than the actual vaccine, but still costly

Hi guys,

in regards to all the hsc courses and the bls can we do them anywhere or they have to be from bcc?

They told us in pre-admissions that the drug screen fee and the statuses would be updated by the end of the week. So I am sure it will change soon.

No not yet, the only thing Bc got was probably my drug test because I did it right after orientation, and my account now has a balance of $29

The drug screen results do not come back to BC that quick. It is probably that admissions got to your name on the list of accepted students and charged your fee.

Anyone liked for white shoes? I figured I would start looking. Any stores that have deals?

Ur right im assuming thats the case then.

Did anyone get the email with the dates of orientation?

Anyone dedcided which campus they'll be registering for? Kinda leaning towards south because I think the clinical sites will be closer to home..

Did anyone get the email with the dates of orientation?

Someone correct me if im wrong, but I think we'll be getting that email after we register for classes, then each campus that we register for well notify their students... I went to the 9am orientation and they didnt give us any dates..but I think some ppl for the 1pm got dates..
