Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?
I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.
Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)
So guys it is already Thursday March 13th and we still have not heard ANYTHING!!!! My status actually still says the same thing "denied pending transcript" as it did when I 1st applied, and I don't understand why nothing has been done. Nursing school starts May 8th so by the time we find out we are going to have to rush to get our background checks, drug tests, physicals, and shots all done in a limited time frame. I don't think its fair what they are doing and if they do not have enough applicants I think they at least should have done a first round pick by now. Hopefully we find something out quickly and they don't keep pushing it back every week they have been doing.
I believe the date I saw for lpn to rn program was this week so I would imagine they are going to be starting after that. It sounds about right...the same as the other schools. Why dont you start getting everything done ahead and just leave the background check for once you find out. You can have all the other papers ready to go. You can get the shots and physicals out of the way..you can search online and the forms come right up. http://www.broward.edu/admissions/Documents/Nursing.pdf

Hey. I'm doing the LPN to rn starting in May and as of now they are still accepting people. Umm for generic I don't really know. The lady in admissions told me testerday that they'll send out emails of acceptance next week.

So stop pressing reset on your phone because they pushed the review date back to mid next week. I went to the campus on Tuesday and spoke with the admin. Also, she said to relax because a lot of people who are applying are meeting minimum requirements. So if your even only a little above average like 6 points with an 80+ hesi... your in there! GL guys hope to see you beside me in class!

I had seen this awhile ago in another post and thought it would be useful for everyone to know even though it is only for North campus. It has some powerpoints and stuff in there. Hope this helps. BTW I keep hitting refresh as well even though I know nothing is going to happen until at least next week. lol

Are you applying for generic or LPN to rn?
