Broward College Nursing May 2014

Hey there! This is a tread for anyone trying to get into the May nursing program in Broward College. Have you guys completed everything we need?

I still have to take my HESI and I am half way done with the Health Core class. I am so nervous. I am still not completely sure on how BC does the admission criteria, but I have high hopes.

Leave anything below. Lets help each other out :)

Mines says the same thing as yours. My friend lives in broward county and hers has the broward county credit and doesn't include the college math spot.

Really, does your friend has points for being a broward county resident?? Very interesting...I'm Broward county resident too and I don't have any points for that. Should I call and ask about it? mmm.... I don't know if is because I already have all the points I need... I have 4.0 GPA maybe is because of it right?? We can not have more than 16 points, maybe I should let it go right?

You can call and see. But then again with a 4.0 you don't need the extra point loll. You can see why your looks different

I didn't get the extra point either and I am a Broward Resident... That's weird is the happening to anyone else?

If I'm not mistaken I believe I read in another post that they stopped adding or that they were going to stop the Broward resident point about 1 or 2 semesters ago. I'll link it if I could find it.

Yeah I've read that too but she still got her point. I don't think it's fair anyway because it's not fair to those who live in dade county.

Yes, I was in person there and I asked about it, then an officer at admission told me that they are no longer adding points to Broward County residents. Now I'm confuse lol anyways...

The admin emailed me and said they are no longer giving the broward resident point.... I could use that point right about now!

On ask an advisor on your broward.edu. im a distance learning student so there are online advisors. If you take on campus classes they will tell you to go to health admissions in building 19 or health dept. In building 8. But the phone numbers are on broward.edu/nursing/contact us.
