Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

I was wondering the same. We were told yesterday that we would receive an email today containing the book list. Did anyone receive an email with this information? Thank you.

What campus are you attending? We were given a list of the most important for our professors yesterday at centrals orientation.

It went well, that kind of stinks you don't have yours until December. They suggested we buy the Perry and Potter book and start reading what we can before school starts. They basically went over everything in the orientation packet (dress code, policies, etc).

Yep that's it! Also, we will have a math competency exam the first week of school I am not sure what will be on that though.

North Campus. Our orientation was conducted by Central faculty member but couldn't give us exact information. Someone did confirm when the email would be sent out with the book info and she came back telling us that it would be yesterday. I still have not received an email with a book list.

I see email says Florida Law and the Professional Nurse (must be 2 CEUs and approved by Fl. Board of Nursing) but it is 3 hours on CEUfast does anyone know if that is okay

I can't find the prevention of medical errors course on ceufast. Is it the same as medical error prevention & risk management?
