Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)
Good luck :)
hey guys I remember the first time I knew I was going to Broward College nursing. Excited, some what how you are feel right know. I am going to process 2 at north campus. All I can say, stay positive. We lost some smart people just because they thought they knew it all and they over thinking. Stick to what the professor say and what is written in the book. Genius do fail nursing school too.
Yep that's true. No time for being a know it all especially at BC! And please pay attention. I was in the LPN to RN program that started may 2014 at south campus and the first term we lost half of the entering class and I failed my last exam of the term by two points. I failed theory. A lot of students failed from lab ( especially from DEMO's ) and and the nursing math class.
Once again pay attention. Professors hate repeating themselves. Yesterday at orientation people kept asking the same questions over and over. Professors won't tolerate that.
Does anyone know if you have to take the CEU classes through Broward college? I found the classes through their website and signed up for them but it's telling me they don't begin until December 7th! I found the courses through other websites though and I'm able to begin those asap but i don't want to pay for those and find out froward won't accept them if it wasn't done through them :/ Someone please help!
Once you pay for the classes through Broward they will show up on your D2L in about 10 minutes. You can complete them right away, no need to wait until December. They are incredibly basic and quick! Hope this helps :)
I have been thinking a lot lately and I am just wondering if there was any information on the central campus and south campus as to which is better if one is better than the other. I had my mind set on central because I have always too my classes there and never anywhere else but now I live closer to south and if theye are pretty much the same as far as learning and getting what I need to get then I don't see why I would not just go to the closest one.
Hey if anyone is interested in buying books for the program, I started in August 2015, but I'm withdrawing from the program, I realized it wasn't for me. I have all the books and stethoscope brand new only used once. My email is [email protected] willing to sell them cheap to get rid of them

I am doing mine through ceufast.com $30 for a full year. You can print your certificates through the program. Am saving myself a lot of money, $130? I will only have to take my 1st aid in person.
