Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

What time are the 1pm people arriving? I will be there at 12 just in case of any traffic or accidents. I am so excited to meet all of you!

Went to orientation today! Thoughts from today...

1) I am not going to see about half the people in that room after the first 8 weeks because they are too dumb to listen

2) I need to work on my self-control and not have the urge to scream when someone asks a question that already been answered

3) I will use ceufast and save myself some money

4) I hope I am in class with Kevin and the girl next to me bc we all 3 have to take Micro and can help each other

5) I'm older and wiser than a lot of my fellow nursing students

6) I will try not to be stressed that bc I am enrolled in Chem now I can not take Micro and do not wish to reapply and risk not getting in, although it is doubtful I wouldn't w/ my 4.0 GPA and 89.6 Hesi score..

7) I wonder how many students will fail the drug test and how many of them are already flushing their systems.

OMG my thoughts exactly. I thought I was going to lose my mind b/c the same questions were being asked over and over LOL. Yes I will be using CEUfast to save some money also, so excited !

Darn! Wish I had known that! Went ahead and started the online CEU's Got through Dom. Violence, med errors, HIV, and FL Law and now my eyes are bleeding. Does anyone know is North campus has the state of the art simulation classrooms that Central does? I hope I get into Central... Can't believe classes filled up so quickly...never mind, I can believe it.

I regret not doing Microbiology. I know guy *** why did I not take it. I was going to take it but summer they told me because I was in a AS program they won't pay for it and if I transferred in to a AA they would pay for it but I made the crazy decision to take it later :bag: pray for me guys

Does anyone know if you have to take the CEU classes through Broward college? I found the classes through their website and signed up for them but it's telling me they don't begin until December 7th! I found the courses through other websites though and I'm able to begin those asap but i don't want to pay for those and find out froward won't accept them if it wasn't done through them :/ Someone please help!

You can do all your ceu's online and any test for a year. It's $30.

hey guys I remember the first time I knew I was going to Broward College nursing. Excited, some what how you are feel right know. I am going to process 2 at north campus. All I can say, stay positive. We lost some smart people just because they thought they knew it all and they over thinking. Stick to what the professor say and what is written in the book. Genius do fail nursing school too.
