Broward College Nursing January 2012

Hey everyone!

This is a thread for anyone applying for the January 2012 class at Broward college for the generic nursing track. July 16th was the date to start applying and I believe it closes sometime in October. How many points does everyone have? I had to defer my seat so I will be starting in January for sure at north campus! :D if I can be of any help with questions pertaining to getting in or the HESI I will be glad to help! hello, i plan on applying for the January 2012 program. I had a couple questions, if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

Does taking the Hesi test more than once hurt your chances of getting in?

Does anyone know any helpful material I can study for the A&P section of the hesi? Ive heard the hesi review book is not a great review for the a&p section?

can you apply to multiple campuses at the same time? or do you have to pick one?

You can retake the hesi as many time as you want . they just pick the greatest scores. and no it wont hurt your chance of getting into the nursing program. u need to apply only at on campus . after you got accepted you will choose which campus you will be attended. it a first come first serve thing so to get the campus you want you just have to pick your class early.

@ Sweething24...Do you have to wait 30days before you retest?...I remember reading a post like this...Is it true??

No it s not true but however i think you have to wait a 2 days to retest , that what the lady at central told me. i would advise anyone who didnt do well on the hesi to schedule an appointement right away to retake it . cause we are approching the deadline and it might be difficult to get a space for the retest.

I took mine at FAU and I took mine on a monday and again on tuesday.

shapata....i cannot thank u enough!!!! thanks so much for that a&p review, it helped alot, i took the hesi today....a&p=96, math=90,r.c.=84,grammar=82, vocab is did bad...64:crying2:. im retaking it next saturday. i wanted to score higher since i only have a 3.1 gpa, and my hesi overall is 83.2 now with one fail so im hoping to get at a 90 at least on the vocab. Do u know anyone that got in the broward nursing program with 3.1 gpa and hesi score in the mid 80%?
