Broward College Nursing January 2012

Published

Hey everyone!

This is a thread for anyone applying for the January 2012 class at Broward college for the generic nursing track. July 16th was the date to start applying and I believe it closes sometime in October. How many points does everyone have? I had to defer my seat so I will be starting in January for sure at north campus! :D if I can be of any help with questions pertaining to getting in or the HESI I will be glad to help! Good luck everyone!!

From what I just read, you seem not to have any dilemma because you just answered to question to your question. Make two columns and weight out the pros and cons. Congrats and best of luck to your Nursing journey on the school that you decide to choose.

Julian, thanks for the advice. I chose Broward South Campus. I am very excited!! I'm looking forward to starting this journey. Thanks again!! =)

Doctors 365 in plantation has good rates and seems like the best place to go without insurance unless you want to deal with the health dept.

Great choice...Be strong and don't give up.

For everyone looking to get CPR certified, I have a good friend of mine will give you a great class for a good price. He is a retired Paramedic Lieutenant from Plantation Fire Rescue that teaches now. He was also a paramedic instructor at Broward College for a long time. I hope this helps some of you out =)

Hello gclef98,

where does he teach the Cpr?, Is it at Broward College or his home?

Hello gclef98,

where does he teach the Cpr?, Is it at Broward College or his home?

It's his own business. He has classes in many locations. He usually makes arrangements with people to have the class in someone's home or in whatever location agreed. Give him a call. One of my friends that is doing the nursing program with me, called him and got plugged into one of his classes yesterday. Call him, he will definitely get you into one of his classes.

Hi Everyone! I see that the class, CAE0612, Introduction to Math for Nurses is now available. I read an older post that stated that this class really helped this new nursing student and was the best investment he made.

I am trying to arrange my schedule so that I can take this course. It will be tough to learn dosages and conversions while taking all the other nursing process 1 courses and having 2 tries to pass it with a 90% or above.

Is anyone else taking this course also??

did anyone looked back on their schedule of the classes yall chose and saw any changes?? i schedule for south campus and had the lady for math now i see that it was changed to the man and i did not do it.
