Today is official closing of receiving applications and is the waiting period.....sighh...I checked again, and my science gpa is 2.94 (ugh) I am a transfer from Miami Dade (I wish I took these courses more seriously 7 yrs ago)! I got an overall HESI of 86%...Only have 6 points and I am a Broward resident, no HOSA. We'll see...I am in micro this semester (tough) need an A/ B! I plan on attending at Central. Can only pray I get in by God's grace.

Keep checking myBC for the "Pre-Admission" status... But not excessively!!!LOL... Good luck to everyone! We will all be :nurse: very soon.

Hi everyone! Im new here.. I turned in my application a little over a week ago and Im just praying that with 6points and Hesi in the high 90's I get in. Wish everyone the best of luck!

I'm also new here although I have been keeping up with the posts for awhile. I submitted my application weeks ago but now the real waiting begins! I have 14 points (no HOSA) but only an 88 on my HESI. I'm hoping I've done enough but, at this point, it is what it is and no longer in my control. I wish everyone the very best of luck! I'll be putting positive vibes into the universe for us all!

When I first applied the cut off was 12 points and I only had 10. Then, I applied again and people with like 5 points were getting in. So basically, it all depends on how the range of points are in this pool of applicants. Stay positive and focused, if you don't make it this time. Try again! I did and I'm half way through the program and have not repeated a course yet! (which it is very hard to stay on track) Positivity is key! Good luck to everyone :)

My page finally shows 'application in review'..I had applied for 8/11 classes (after the close date since they said I may get in if those accepted declined the offer)but didn't get in..all my status said was 'not selected'..good luck to all waiting...

Ladypat, how many points did you have? And did you do well on the HESI? I just declined a promotion offer at my job because Im hoping I get in for January. Im praying that I get in, but my GPA is low and Im concerned it's going to be my downfall even if I did well on the HESI. I have 11 points and hope it's enough. I definitely don't want to see "Not Selected" :-( Ugh..... this wait is killing me!!! :uhoh3:

I have 11 points and my gpa is 3.0..it was a big let down when I wasn't selected...I did apply on time but had to retake the a&p section....I took a&p like 2yrs ago when I was pregnant with my 5th girl...so I forgot alot..I retook that section after the close date and admissions told me I can still get in if any openings occur...I guess there wasn't..Jazzy2BNurse I know how u feel..I'm praying to get in...I need to get in..I got in the high 90s in all area but a&p..but after retaking it I got 89...so all I can do now is wait.
