When I initially read the threads, I was intimidated by the high points that I noticed mostly everyone had. Then I remembered that if it is in God's will for my life, my 7 points will still get me in. To everyone who scored higher, I congratulate you and I will continue to speak nothing but positivity in hopes that we all will have a seat in January. Everyone keep in mind that no matter how we got to this point, we got to this point, so we should all be pretty darn proud of ourselves...believe me, as a mother of 4, wife, and full-time worker, it's a wonder I scored in the high 90s for everything but Math (80) and A&P (76)...heck, it's a wonder how I managed to obtain a 3.0 GPA...lol. From the bottom of my heart, I wish everyone one the best, and I hope to meet some of you in classes :)

My application status is finally: "application in review". The waiting continues. :smackingf I'm so nervous but its in Gods hands now.

I know this is ridiculous considering the application period just closed 6 days ago, but I find myself checking my status 5 times a day already.... lol. I know Im not the only one!!!! Although I have no idea what to expect, Im anxious and excited!! I guess we won't know until around October 15th..... eeeeeeek! I'll go crazy by then! :uhoh3: :uhoh3: :uhoh3: Good luck everyone!!

Don't feel bad, I check about 5 times a day too...can't wait to find out...but I guess I will have to.

LOL.. You are not the only one!!! I am praying, crossing my fingers, and hoping to see "Pre-Admission", THEN I check my e-mail to make sure I did not forget anything.. LOL... It has only been 6 days, but feels like forever!!!!! I am hoping we hear SOMETHING before Oct 15!!!!!! I am driving myself craazzyyyy!!!! :eek:

You are not alone Jazzy2BNurse! Honestly, I check my status excessively as well. lol I am just so nervous about getting in! I was granted 11 points + 1 for Broward Resident. I got High 80 for Math and 90s for all other sections except A&P-76 . I didnt know you could retake that portion as I was coming last minute from UCF and did not know much about the program. I was all set and registered for the Concurrent program at UCF/VALENCIA but due to some financial aid problems I had to drop the program and move home. Hopefully, I have enough to get in so I can stop wondering what is going to happen! My dream is be a Nurse Practioner and I just want to start already. lol. Well, I wish you all luck! Hope to hear from everyone soon! :)

Hi Gang!!....Has anyone received a registration date for the winter 2012 already?....I received a date for the 12th of October but with no time...all it says it that "open registartion has not yet started "...A friend of mine who applied for the 2012 program has also received the same registration date....I just want to know if this is linked to an acceptance in the program or if everyone who has applied to the program will receive this registration date.

I dont think this regristration date has something to do with your acceptance into the program. Cause I was trying to regrister for classes like dep2004 mac1105 etc but ot says regrisyraion not yet open. And when I checked my regristration date is oct 12 so I guess that s most people regristration date maybe including the nursing program.

@Sweething24....Ok...I was mainly thinking that the registration date was for the nursing applicants....I hope everyone gets the same registration dates...Thanks for responding to the post Sweething24

That date is for regular registration to classes...for the nurses program you would first have to be accepted into the program and they will send an email out with the available classes and the registration dates..and believe me those classes fill up pretty quick as the have the exact amount of seats offered..I think there is like 2 classes for each class we need to take at each of the campuses.

Hi Ladypat....Thanks for sharing this info...Will everyone have the same registration date??...I really hope so...I can just imagine how fast those classes are going to be filled up...I really would like to attend the north campus if I get in.

Everybody on all the campuses will have the same registration date..at least with the last nursing class it was like that...also the campus you register for is where you will remain until graduating. .I'm hoping to go to central...good luck soon2bnurseshanshan.
