Hello, this is a thread for any current nursing students at Broward college or those who have recently been accepted. I'm a bit confused on Broward's admission criteria. What classes exactly do they use to calculate the gpa?

I took everything at BC but here is what someone who took theirs at ceufast posted on this thread a few pages back:

The course names are slightly different, as are the hours. They are:

AIDS/HIV 4hr - there is an option for 2hr, be sure to select the 4hr

Domestic Violence 2hr

Medical Errors Prevention 2hr

Hepatitis C: Beyond The Basic 2hr

OSHA 1hr

Tuberculosis 2hr

Infection Control and Barrier Precautions 4hr

Glad I decided to keep my scrubs and polos. A little less spending to do this time around.

I have 2 blue polos and 2 sets of scrubs. Just need my shoes and I'll probably get one white polo. Definitely ordering my penlight, scissors, ect from Amazon cause they're way cheaper

Are you talking about the HSC Courses? If so, yes we need to complete them and have the certificates for each course to turn in for the program.

They probably didn't mention it because they'll talk about it at orientation. And each campus has a different due date to turn this stuff in.
