Hello, You must take the HESI and pass all of the subjects with at least a 75%... they look at that, and your GPA for the prerequisites that they require. The GPA will give you points... The most points is 16 so if you have a 4.0 in the prerequisites than you will have 16 points. Also, you must take the HCP core course... and I recommend taking Micro before applying so you don't have to do it while in the nursing program.

Hello, so will this be the official thread for Jan 2015? I was shooting for August but didn't get to take the Hesi in time so it looks like I'm all in for Jan!

Me and you both @dridri23. :unsure: I took the HESI but failed the A & P section so I have to re-take it. I wanted to study more before I took it again and was going to do it on Saturday the 21st but I called the lab and the HESI exam is closed for that day so I will have to take it the 28th.

I was so frustrated because they kept telling me I should be fine to take the Hesi in June and now I find out they just sent the acceptance letters. Ugh! What campus are you applying to? And Im worried about the a&p on the hesi! How was it and what did you use to study?

I'm applying for North campus and it wasn't hard, in my opinion, I just didn't study every subject and only focused on a few areas. Email me [email protected]and I will give you some study tips. Also I believe if they still have space, depending on when you want to take the exam, you still have a chance for August. That's what I read on the August 2014 threat.

Thank you will do! Are u still shooting for August or youre just gonna do January? I thought about it but I would have to cram for a&p and I dont think I can plus I figure I can just get micro out the way this fall because everyone says its best to get it out the way now.

Well I'm finish with all my pre-req classes. I wanted to do Aug' 2014 cause it's been too long for me and I need to start the program already but I'm not going to rush for August. If I turn in my application in time for me to get into Aug' than GREAT!!! if not I'm fine with Jan' 2015. What matters to me is to just get into the program and finish. I held onto my AA degree since 2008 and I need to stop being afraid and do it. :yes:

Exactly how I feel. I have everything done as well except micro. I figured I would do it during that summer break in the program but now that Im going for Jan Ill get it out the way now. I emailed you also.

Hi, I have a question. Can I apply Broward college nursing although I live in Miami dade county? I know some school do not accept outside of their county. I will appreciate answer! Thank you!!
