Broward college Nursing Jan 2015

Published

Hello, this is a thread for any current nursing students at Broward college or those who have recently been accepted. I'm a bit confused on Broward's admission criteria. What classes exactly do they use to calculate the gpa?

I took it at Central Campus. It was fun. It was not hard at all. Just do some reading, and you will be fine

I will take K.Ahm at North Campus

Hey guys! I'm applying for January as well! I'm in A&P 1 right now and taking part two during fall along with the HCP course that is required to apply to the program. I'm looking into taking the HESI at around the end of the summer. I know it's a few months away but is it me or do I feel crunch time coming on? I took micro and the English course at another school and had them transferred. I also need to get into this program and get this done it's my dream to be a nurse and work in labor and delivery.

Question if you are taking A&P II in the fall how do you expect to pass the A&P section on the HESI if you take it towards the end of summer? Just a thought.

Just to have a taste of how it is so I can fully prepare the second go round. I may hold out but I'm curious as to what I should prepare for and what I should not. Since there is no limit to how many times you can take, they take the best scores.

I Reviewed From The Lab Manual. Most of the questions were from anatomy 1. The answer for part 2 were obvious. They might ask you what muscle is part of the quadricep? Questions were superficial. They don't go deep. Again, don't stress out, it s not hard at all. My first language is not english, and I end up with 90 in everything except vocabulary 84. U can do it.

Thank you. And I m taking it with three other classes.lol. what campus will you attend?

How does the point system work

If your Gpa is 4.0, they give you 16. If it s 3.9, u get 15. Etc....

does BC use the point system for prereq GPA or overall GPA? And I hear that Central Campus is the worst to attend

Pre req GPA I believe is what the info on the site says

Hello ,

I am an LPN; however, I applied for Generic RN because I missed application dead line for LPN to RN transisition. My Hesi scores overall was 81% and GPA 3.42. Do you think BC is still accepting application for August RN program?

I turned my application in to Nicole @ Central Campus, roughly about 2-3 weeks ago, my status still say "Pre Program Application".

Thank you.
