Broward college May 2012

Hi I would like to apply for the generic May 2012 entry nursing program at Broward college. Any one else looking into applying for this program. Let's help each other out in this process. I know it's a bit early but I'm excited !!!:)

@ Joeane - I'm so excited too and can't wait to just know already! The suspense is killing me!!!! What campus are you hoping to attend?

@ Lovelyb09 - I honestly don't know, but I'm sure there is a way to validate that. Wish I would of known back then what I know now. Unfortunately, high school seems like forever ago for me and I definitely did not participate in HOSA.

I know! If I would have known back then I would have def. done HOSA. Maybe they will look at your individual grades and not just at the points you have. Hopefully they look at my application soon and put down how many points they will give me so I can atleast be closer to knowing if I get in or not!

So i turned in my application on Monday and it still says on my BC that it's in pre program admissions and where it says paid program fee it says N/A. Does it always say that until they evaluate it? Because by the end of the week they should have given me my points. I just hope they didn' t lose my application or anything like that.

I know you mentioned that you recently turned in your application so you should be getting points awarded soon. What does the status of your application say now when you log in to your BC account? I know once the application deadline hits on the 15th I'm going to be checking my status every day...probably more than once...lol. :lol2:

Nevermind... I must of had the screen open while you were typing. I'm sure they have everything, but haven't reviewed it yet to award points. Once your points have been awared it will change to "Application in Review". And you don't have to worry about the program fee part. I think we worry about that after we've been accepted and pertains to the cost of the program. However, don't forget to pay the $20 application fee if you haven't already.

I made sure to pay the fee when I turned it in because I wasn't sure if that would matter on when they would reward your points. But hopefully by tomorrow or friday they will have everything up there because the deadline is coming soon!

@lovelyb09 it will be reflected on your HS transcripts if you were in a HOSA program

Turned my application in on Tuesday and my status changed this morning to "Application in Review" and i was awarded 12 points.

@lovelyb09 you should definately contact them if you see no change by today, because the deadline is the 15. I know North Campus Health Science Admissions office closes at 4:30pm and they will be closed on Friday, not sure if central is the same, so you should inquire soon if no change.

So while we wait. Whats was your hesi score and how many points you were awarded?

12pts and my hesi average was 86%

Nothing changed on my application status yet with it the points.. I don't think they lost my application because the 20 bucks showed up on my account to pay. But if it doesn't change by tomorrow I am calling.

Keep checking, I submitted mine early on the 3rd of Jan and saw a change on the 6th in the afternoon. So it should change by tomorrow or even later today.
