Broward college May 2012

Hi I would like to apply for the generic May 2012 entry nursing program at Broward college. Any one else looking into applying for this program. Let's help each other out in this process. I know it's a bit early but I'm excited !!!:)

Buy the scrubs like a size and a half smaller than what you usually wear a because they run HUGE!

Did you buy them at the bookstore on campus?

My orientation is also at 9:00...I kind of wish I had gotten the afternoon one because I will have to miss two classes, but whatever, I will take what I can get haha! I am so excited it is finally time to begin! I will be attending north campus.

Yes I did I was so excited I couldn't wait lol the shirts are 25.00 and the pants are 15.00. They will ask us to do CPR and domestic violence certain certification b4 starting the program, and the school offers them but i read on other posts that you can do them cheaper at ceufast.com. Does anybody know what hospitals central campus goes to?

You can also do the certifications & cpr at Sheridan Tech. Its cheaper than Broward & all online except 1 day at campus for the cpr training. The instructor there that teaches the class is very nice too.

Ok :) That's not too bad in terms of cost. My best friend started the program in January. She got her certs from ceufast for like $30. It's a lot cheaper than Sheridan & Broward. I plan on getting that done after orientation. Thanks for the info :)

do we need to bring ID for orientation or something and what campus are you planning to attend? Does any1 know which hospitals that Central campus students rotate from?

I'm planning to attend central..I just live closer to that campus..I'm going to bring ID just in case I always have it on me anyways..look forward to meeting everyone!

I called the school today and they told me if we know that we got accepted for sure that we can start getting our certifications such as cpr, hiv, domestic violence.....Congrats and can't wait to see every1.

Where are you getting your certifications through? I've read about ceu fast and Sheridan tech but didn't know if you had any insight about those..

I have bad news for those of us who were planning to attend north campus. The professor is taking the summer off so only central & south campus is available. You would have to defer your seat to August. I just called and you can't switch campuses after your first semester :( Idk what to do...

I wish!!! My best friend is in the program at North now and the professor told the class. I called health science admissions and she confirmed it... I'm pretty upset
