Hi my north campus ppls I wantedto know if any1 has seen gbrickman"s page and has any1 seen the calenders for what the reading material was going to be, and this may sound dumb but i really want to make sure, are we in uniform or regular clothes the 1st day?

Where are my north campus attendees! Excited nervous and ready all at the same time! How does every1 think the registration process for north campus went this morning? I was starting to get a lil frustrated when it kept coming up with errors. Congrats again to every1! :rotfl:

I am having a hard time finding out the contact hours that are needed for each course if possible could some one tell me what is needed as far as hiv (how many hours) domestic violence (how many hours) tb/osha (how many hours) thank you i want to make sure that i do the right amount of hours for each course.

I am a nervous wreck about starting in august (i deferred from may) and i have been hearing horror stories about the bc program, this post is both inspiring and informative. I have to congratulate you on reaching ob as i know many ppl do not make it past process 2, i never thought about that fact that people with 4.0's have a memorization ability to do well in school rather than the program. I thank you for taking the time to write this.even though i know your time is highly limited. But i was ask do you have any advice towards succeeding in this program? And if you have a job how do you deal with work and school?

Hi guys i was just writing to find out how every ones first day was going and how it was the 1st day how is every ones day going?

Does any1 know the name of the lady that gives the math class prior to starting the nursing program, it was on the January 2012 thread but I cannot find her name. She teaches you how to convert the dosages and do the math required for the program, if anyone could find it it would be a great help. Thank you

You can sign up for the class if you were accepted to the program, I emailed the lady and thats what she told me.

Well the information that initially got was that not just any1 can sign up for this class, my cousin who was in the program told me that when she was in the program you could only take this class if you fail out of the program, when i emailed her she said if you get accepted into the program then you can take it. So i signed up. I suggest for my future classmates to do the same, you could never be prepared.

Hi guys I read somewhere earlier in the thread that there was a class that helps you prepare as far as study skills go for the nursing program. Its an sls class given by instructor italia folleco and I heard that its a great course to take because of how challenging the nursing program is. I just signed up to kind of better prepare myself for august because i did defer, and going in I want to know that I did all I can to be successful in the program, i hope that you guys do the same. I haven't started any of my titers yet because I remember them saying something about them expiring while in the program, so i will start everything next month, the the hep series i will start now. Also I know there is a professor that gives a course with nursing math I would like to ask does any1 know the name of that professor and if someone can email me some sample problems that I could probably get some help on b4 starting in august. They didn't specify what the changes would be but i am pretty sure they are going to make it a little bit tougher to get into the program, my best guess is that they are going to make micro a requirement.

Oh but of course you have an awesome chance of getting in, especially since there are 3 campuses open, i had to defer from may because i had to financially prepare myself and 3 months wasn't enough time, the people that got accepted into may were accepted with scores no lower than a 3.0, so your chances are superb!
