Broward college May 2012

Hi I would like to apply for the generic May 2012 entry nursing program at Broward college. Any one else looking into applying for this program. Let's help each other out in this process. I know it's a bit early but I'm excited !!!:)

My friend who applied still has "in review" status. She has more points then me and did really good on her HESI. What the heck? How did I get accepted over her? I applied really early. Did everybody else did too?

I have 12 points and I applied two days before the deadline. Maybe she should call the office if she hears nothing by Monday

I'm sorry Lovelyb, but please don't give up. August is right around the corner so there's a chance you could be accepted at that time. I believe you mentioned that you weren't able to take Micro yet right? If you haven't, it would be a good time to get that out of the way. I wish you the best of luck and know that one day you will become a great nurse!

it says no space avail. but then on my friends it says improve hesi score. so does that mean i can still get in if somebody defers or what?

Hey my status says not accepted space availability... I hope that ten people defer their seats. And how many points do u have.

Wow i did not know that they are so specific, what was her hesi score? if you don't mind me asking. I know three of my friend got in and they are differing their seats to august and two persons on here are considering the same thing, I say don't give up hope you might just get that phone call or email. I have seen on previous threads that peoples status changed to alternates (which means they would be considered if someone declines their seat).

I have pre admission! I want to congratulate those who got in and don't give to those that didn't. I am happy and wrought with fear now that orientation is march 1st, it is becoming clear that what i have wanted my whole life is about to be set in motion. I am scared to quit my job and or go part time...I am happy and i feel blessed that the opportunity has now presented itself. But i will let go and let god! CONGRATS GUYS! What campuses are you guys trying to attend!

did anyone get the official email after seeing the "pre-admission" status, b/c I still haven't received that email or any letter. If anyone know the orientation time frame on March 1st, I would really appreciate it. or how long it is etc.

Congrats to everyone that got in for May 2012. It's summer, it will be a faster pace than other semesters, so I hope the best for everyone :)

I have not received an email yet, but someone said orientation was March 1st at 9am at South campus. I'm anxious to receive the official acceptance email to know exactly what is going on. I'm nervous, excited, scared, and everything in between at this point. I would like to attend North campus. Where is everyone else planning to attend????
