Broward College May 2011

Anyone else palnning on applying for May 2011. Im currently in the process of transferring back to broward and I am planning on applying for May. I have all my pre-reqs done and I already took and passed the HESI, and I also have HOSA so I think I may be in a good position(fingers crossed). I just need to take Micro & I plan on taking that in the winter term. If anyone can recommend a teacher I would greatly appreciate it.

I was planning to buy the littman classic ii se but Im not sure which one we need or if we even are required to purchase a littmann

I went to Broward North Campus two weeks ago and only a few of size small was on stock. You may call the bookstore to check if they have stock. Just google their phone no. :)

I just bought my scrub tops at central campus. They have plenty of uniforms in every size, so if you can't find what you need at north you can go there.

Does anybody know of an inexpensive place to get ur shots done? I got laiid off of my job so I have no health insurance at this time.

Hey there! Just wanted to say congratulations to those of you who have been accepted to North campus for May! I started the program in January at North! It is a lot of work, but so much fun! It will be pretty overwhelming for you the first couple of weeks of school, but it gets easier as you get used to the work load. We can have littman stethoscopes (I have a pink one) and the first semester was $1,403

Littmans are NOT required. They prefer students to buy the stethoscopes from the bookstore which are $20. But if you prefer a Littman or any other brand they dont care. As long as you have a stethoscope.

Yes thank you Lord Almighty I just got the acceptance email as well :D!!!! So i'm guessing it's only gonna be in North campus after all. Good thing I've heard that's the best campus for the program :). This is all working out so beautifully!

Yes! North Campus is THE BEST. You're going to love Mrs. Brickman (you'll have her for NUR 1 and 2), she gives great lectures.
