Broward College May 2011

Anyone else palnning on applying for May 2011. Im currently in the process of transferring back to broward and I am planning on applying for May. I have all my pre-reqs done and I already took and passed the HESI, and I also have HOSA so I think I may be in a good position(fingers crossed). I just need to take Micro & I plan on taking that in the winter term. If anyone can recommend a teacher I would greatly appreciate it.

The nursing process one professor has a website where you can find the booklist and other information. It is possible that the booklist may change, so I would wait until after orientation to buy anything. I bought my books on amazon and it was cheaper than buying them at the book store. I would suggest getting the computerized fundamentals book, as it will make your life much easier when you are studying. Her website is:

http://webhome.broward.edu/~gbrickma/

The booklist is located under calendars!

I got my email today I got ACCEPTED!!! :yeah::yeah:

Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Who is going to orientation on Mar 3???

Just got my reminder email for next week.. Can't believe time went by so fast before we know it, it will be May

Did anyone purchase their Stethoscope yet? I was looking into getting one off of mediasave because they offer free engraving. Just wanted to see if anyone has ordered from them.

I got mine from amazon... The prices are much better than all the other sites I looked at.

I'm wondering whether I can show up to orientation with my ride (my hubby) just so he doest have to be waiting for me outside the whole time. I've never been to north campus before.

There's a public library right across from the school of nursing so he can probably kill some time there.

Sunshine how many set of scrubs do they recommend or do you recommend rather that we purchase?

hi! do we need to bring something tomorrow?

Is anyone else torn on which campus to go to after today? Im trying to decide for me Central is closer to home but I hear from everyone that North is better...decisions decisions

Having the same problem central is right down the street but my friend went to central and hated it and transferred to north and said the teachers were ten times more helpful and caring and she had such a good experience there.
