Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

you hand everything into the nursing office, they hand it to ----------------------. the guy I spoke with at the office said it would take her a few days to sort through the portofolio and get back to you.on what, if anything, was missing.

make sure you have copies once you hand it in they make you sign a form saying you aren't allowed to access or copy the originals anymore.

OK I only gave one copy to them. -------------------- said to give her her own copy...and I didn't have to sign anything

I was just checking my refrigeration date for fall semester and it says 4/28.

yes fall registration is tomorrow. i think we will need reference codes.

also, if anyone is waiting on financial aid, email ----------------------if it hasn't posted yet. he has extended my due date to the 10th so I don't lose my classes

Do we have to include our CE certificates & CPR copy in the folder we have to turn our papers in? Also, does it have to be a specific folder with pockets or 1inch binder?

Yes. Include those. I put mine in a binder. But I saw other students turned in folders

we turn in a folder to the nursing office, and need a binder with copies of our ceu's, physical, etc that we will need to turn into our instructors so they can check to see if everything is still up to date.

Does anyone know if the bandage scissors have to be a specific size? I am looking on amazon some are 5 1/2, some are 7 1/2 .. not sure which one to get.
