Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

didnt they say in orientation we could wear the polo w/ jeans or scrubs on the first day of theory? thats what it says in the orientation packet as well.

I also emailed --------------------- but she hasn't answered me. When and where do we give our portfolio to her?

you hand everything into the nursing office, they hand it to zoeller. the guy I spoke with at the office said it would take her a few days to sort through the portofolio and get back to you.on what, if anything, was missing.

make sure you have copies once you hand it in they make you sign a form saying you aren't allowed to access or copy the originals anymore.

The dean made a comment about math & pharm ...stating that these are not nursing courses and uniform is not enforced ??! Did you guys hear anything about this?

I was thinking the same thing but honestly I think most of us have Pharm or math after lecture so probably not gonna want to change in between classes!

Very true. Because I'm with the LPNs... we don't have theory until June. But I'd rather wear a polo top anyway.... It's more professional.

So Fall registration opens tomorrow? Our next set of classes are Health Alterations I & lab, and Health Care of Women & Lab.....correct?
