Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.
My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.
My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0
Hello everyone. I will be having my classes at north campus.
I was just wondering if anybody had any info if the titers for varicella, rubeola and rubella were absolutely necessary even if you have proof that you had the shots as a kid.
Also where did you buy your shoes? I am at lost where to go buy them.
And one last question, are there any examples online of the math test we will have to take on the first week? Or at least the type of exercises that will be on it.
Thanks in advance
I've been looking around for books in that bundle and it seems like buying them new on campus makes the most sense. The cheapest I have found all 6 books for used is $298 plus almost $20 shipping. Anyone else successful on money saving alternatives?
I got almost all my books on Amazon for less than 175. If you go to the site of the book you're interested on there's a link that shows a price for used. You click on it and it shows you the cheapest price. If you have prime you can get free shipping.

Titers are required regardless if you have vaccines or not. If you have no immunity you need to get revaccinated.
I got all leather nursemates nursing shoes. I didn't want to get yucky germs on laces.
I haven't seen any samples of math tests but the central dean said its ratio and proportion based.

they told us this at orientation already.yes, you need the titers. They still want proof. If you aren't immune, you need two doses of MMR and two doses of varicella. that is what ms zoeller said.
payless always has white shoes, or they did say we could get a pair with a logo as long as the logo is white.
math test? i heard the dean say something about the TABE for reading, but i dont think she mentioned a math section, unles my hearing is bad.

I think divino means the math competency test we take the first week of the program.
