Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

Help please lol.... I got the book list. However, I could've sworn there was a list of equipment ( stethoscope, light pen, cuff, etc...). If there is and I'm not going crazy here, could you guys help me find it on the website? :bookworm:

What kind of stethoscope did you purchase? I want to get a littmann now I'm thinking that's not the best choice .

They told us not get get a littman because they get picked up around the hospital. And I'm sure we'd all cry if someone stole our littman lol. But the bookstore has them for like 18 and they have different colors :)

I know, I felt the same way. But at the bookstore, all those things are all right next to each other. I'm sure well get a few more emails confirming everything before we start

I bought a littman for $46 dollars and then there is a option to get your name engraved on it. I thought $46 was reasonable and when I graduate I will get the expensive one. If you guys look on amazon theres a ton of options on there!

Amazon has a bundle deal for $18. Its a stethoscope with a cuff and matching bag. Variety of colors. I personally have a Littman, I purchased it when I graduated LPN school. But, I'd hate to have it stolen ....so I bought one that will get the job done.

Lol no.. I work in a hospital and trust me the nurses and Drs have better stethoscopes then the one I just bought lol. I bought the cheapest littman I could find.
