Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

Lol no.. I work in a hospital and trust me the nurses and Drs have better stethoscopes then the one I just bought lol. I bought the cheapest littman I could find.

Okay thank you. I might email my professor tomorrow just for further clarification.

the central dean was at our orientation, she said as long as the logo is all white that is fine.

I got a Littman. I'm not afraid someone will take it. If I let someone borrow it I will stand there until they are done and ask for it back nicely. I don't think docs are really trying to "steal your stethoscope" they just may forget and put it around their neck for habit and just because we are "students" and they are doctors we may not want to ask for it because we are scared to. Honestly I tried the cheaper ones like the one at the bookstore and nothing compares to Littman. And don't forget we have to listen to lung sounds during physical assessments!

The classic 3 it's a little pricey but I personally think it's worth it.
