Broward College May 2016 RN program

Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.

My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.

My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0

i won't be able to get any of my uniforms or polos until financial aid kicks in , pays for my classes, and i can get my ID badge :/ wish we couls just walk in with a credit card and boom.

Ah no then you'd be broke lol. I wish I had financial aid

Where do we get our ID badge? I'm totally new to the school.

I purchased the study guide on Chegg for $20. And the textbook itself runs around $37 used and $25 rented. They also offer free shipping over $50

Where do we get our ID badge? I'm totally new to the school.

Me too. But I went to go today and it's at student life. Around the corner from the bookstore. If your classes are not paid for yet, you will not be in the system and they will not issue you a badge. That's what happened to me. He said to pay and wait 24-48 hours for their system to be updated.

So, to clarify some info from the North meeting. She said nikes are fine as long as the check is all white and the shoes are all leather, correct? Also, for Pharm and math do we need to wear polo or scrubs or we can wear whatever?

So lucky! We can only wear no logo at Central. :unsure:

I think at the campus safety office. Same place you go to get your parking decal

Yeah it's pricey! I paid $66 today for 1 scrub top, 1 polo, and the ID holder

i didnt see the study guide in the bundle, or in the required list on the bookstore website. i only saw the clinical companion for the fundamentals text. i dont think we need the perry study guide.

for

north campus, it is behind admissions office, building 46. go into the student life office and take a right.

all of the tuition needs to be paid for before you canget an ID badge.

i know :/ i budgeted for the polos, etc already. just need to get tuition paid and i can actually GET them.
