Just wanted to start a thread for Broward's May '16 RN program! I'm finishing up my application process this week.
My hesi was a 87% overall, with 90's in Math, Reading, and Vocabulary, an 84% in grammar, and a 80% in AP.
My prerequisite GPA is a 4.0
Those should give the May 2016 students exactly what you, I passed process 1. didn't study in groups because most use those for social time. I also bought the Perry and Potter Fund Study Guide book and turned those questions into note cards for EACH chapter after EVERY class that we did those specific chapter, that way by the night before the exam i had all my note cards and could follow the modules given to us (those are set guides the nursing dept tells us to use when we study as central focuses) and then by the final exam all i had to do was review my note cards verses rereading each chapter. I only read each chapter once but i started my reading about 2 months before the program. so here is your chance to do just that. I have provided you with enough info to be well ahead of the game. its survival of the fittest and ANY one can do it if you put your mind to it - good luck!
For those of you looking for a pretty easy Grant, doesn't matter if you already have a bachelors and won't be getting other federal aid. call "Broward Souce One" and ask about the WIOA grant. It's an $8200 free grant for a few different programs including broward college RN program. It'll cover the first $8200 of costs including books and uniform not shoes though.

Is this depending on income?
Question: the books in the list for process 1 and 2 are going to need them for the whole program or just that semester? I have to rent my fundamentals book and need to know how long I will have to need it. Also the med surg and all the companions and study guides that go with fundamental of nursing. I plan on purchasing Jarvis and Davis's.

Do you know of the requirements to apply besides income?
