I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!
Turned in my paperwork to south! Double checked about the tb and was told the same as jeanL. You get the initial and return 48 hours later for results (that is the second step). Although I'm still confused because when you google it it says you get the initial, return for results, then get Another injection a week later. We'll see I guess.

Get ppd. Wait 48-72 hrs. Get result. Wait a week. Go back and get second ppd. Wait another 48-72 hrs then get result.

That's not I was told by the nursing dept when asked. The dean said get injection, wait 48 hours, and then get results. If negative that's all they need. I'm wondering if I should do the other part though because I'm going out of town Thursday. I was told they immediately start looking over the paperwork once it's handed in and if there is a problem they'll call.
