Broward College hopeful for May 2013 Nursing Program

I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!

Do you guys know of any other books/materials you can get ready in advance?

Fundamentals success and test success are good ones. There was another one posted on here called Mosbys guide to nursing school.

I know there are more than 3 of us on here going to North campus. Join the FB group so we can share info etc. since this forums has some restrictions what we can post. links, prof names etc.

Hense why the FB group so don't have limitations. When you enter in a hyperlink like that it flags it for moderators to edit :p

Anyone going to North? As I read it, we just put together the "Nursing Portfolio" and turn it in at the orientation, right? (I know that South requires it to be turned in by 4/22) However, I don't see it stated anywhere that we need to turn it in sooner as they said in the meeting.
