Broward College hopeful for May 2013 Nursing Program

I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!

Hey Stacie. Thanks for the heads up on the 2 step PPD test! I didn't even notice they changed it on the new form. I just left the doctors today. Luckily I'll have it all done by the due date. ..If you guys haven't gone yet go today!

Hey I just spoke to the Dean of south and she said that in regards to the Tbs. If you had a negative after the 48 hrs. Then that is all they need. Unless you where positive.you do not have to do the 7 days and retest.

Really? They told me different when I called yesterday. Did you ask about the flu shot?

Just looked and there are still 18 spots left between north and south. There was only 2 yesterday. Everyone I'd check to make sure you weren't dropped at all.

Now that people should know what campus they are attending I have FB group for North campus. This will make sharing information, learning about fellow classmates easier, and schedule study sessions. If you are attending North come join and share if you know any other students attending North
