I know there is a lot of confusion going around with the new requirements for the BC nursing program so I wanted to start a thread for those of us finishing prerequisites and applying in January. I'm in the Core class now, but other than that I'm finished with everything else and getting very excited to start next year!
I spoke to the dean personally and was told that the other portion is only needed if you were positive. Otherwise, test wait 48 hrs and get results. Of course this is what south campus says. As we know all 3 have different requirements.
Just spoke with Central AND South Campus nursing dept. You're correct. :)
Kind of off topic, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any health insurance options for students? I have a policy that my job reimburses me for, at 158.00 a month, but that is obviously going to stop when I leave to start school. Anyone know of any programs, or just general info that could point me in the right direction?
Wondering: can we use ebooks instead of hard copies? It would make it so much easier.
Yes you can. They don't care (at least at North) what type of book you are using as long as you are reading and understanding the concept of the material. Some people even used the 7th ed of Perry & Potter and were just fine.
