Anyone Applying to the fall 2020 Nursing program at broward college , that is getting ready to take or have taken the HESI ?

In May in bought an iPad, keyboard and apple pencil. I plan on using it to take notes but I'll probably use the traditional notebook method as well LOL. I went to Ikea on Wednesday and bought a huge desk. Expensive purchases so far and I haven't even been accepted ? imagine when we start buying books and suppies. Geeeeez.

I was going to say!! Haha I’m over here nervous ? holding things on an amazon wish list, waiting to find out whether I’m in or not...and you are purchasing desks!! That’s good though it means you’re confident. I really hope we all get in that would be incredible ❤️ Big dreams on the line!! A friend of mine who went to nursing school somewhere else, uses traditional pen and paper and types her notes up later to be able to go over them twice before studying that’s always an option for you too, especially if you like using your iPad and Apple pen.

OMG you should see my amazon list ? I found a couple of Youtube videos on study tips for nursing students I really like yesterday. I can link them for anyone who wants to see them. I don't remember her username. I am just very hopeful! I have 7 points so it's not like I should be overly confident but I do have hope.

Yeah a lot of the videos I saw recommend doing it that way!

OMG I am the same. I have a ton of things on my amazon and etsy chart but I'm afraid to check out just in case I do not get in . I should not be that way because my points are pretty high....but you know self doubt is a horrible thing. I have an ipad but just recently purchased the mac book air....I think will be writing down my notes and then transferring over to the laptop. Hopefully our professors will let us record. I'm taking calculus right now and my professor blessed us with the recordings of every lecture, those recordings are a life saver!

Yes the recordings are very helpful!
I am sure it will just depend on the teacher.

My points aren’t high, but one of the classes for the points I took years ago and can’t redo for a higher grade, so it is what it is. But I’ve waited quite a bit for my kids to be in school so I can focus on school myself, the way I need to. I applied to chamberlain and was accepted, but it didn’t feel like the right fit and neither did those loans. Plus, I have literal fantasies about that health science building at central campus!! ? almost everyone I have talked to says no one gets you prepared to be a nurse better than Broward. I’ve worked hard to get here and I’m ready to work harder for these dreams of saving lives and having a nursing career. Which ever way I have to get there!! Don’t that self doubt get you girl, push it deep deep down LOL.

Same, I only been to south campus. I really want to see how central look like. If I get in, well when I do get in (I feel confident) I will apply for central campus.
