Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)
Anyone at south know what or where the "head to toe physical assessment sheet (you can use as many sheets as you need); this is an individual assignment" can be found?
They said in the email that D2L will be open on monday online so it might be on there along with the syllabus or we might get the papers on lecture day.Not to sure do

Check on the Evolve website, we all have an account on there because we had to sign up to do the HESI exam. If you don't remember your username and password you used on that day ( I sure didn't I was too nervous), go on there and have them email you your username and password. Once you sign in you can add Perry: Clinical Nursing Skills & Techniques 7th ed. There are videos, pdf of checklists and charts and quizzes there. I see a number of physical assessment sheets not sure if that's what we need to complete. In any case there is lots of info there. You can also add the Perry& Potter and Jarvis texts and have access to the interactive things that go with the book, it's all free.

Thanks for the info Had no idea about this
Hi ladies,The time is near for you all to be officially a nursing student. Once you walk on campus with those blue scrubs on. Yeah for you guys......Anywho... My question is how much were your classes and books for this semester? Did your student loan or financial aid cover it all or did you need extra money? I'm trying to save money and I want an idea of how much the first semester cost. I also have to pay for child care as well.
Is anyone else still waiting for their loan to be processed by financial aid? I can't believe it's taking this long. I'm relying on it to buy my books to start reading assigned chapters :/
Yes I am waiting too.My due date is Monday I wanted to start the reading assignments but guess I have to wait.
