Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

I'm not sure for South Campus. You can check with the bookstore I got the list from North Campus bookstore.

Hi everyone :-) I'm pretty excited about school starting on August 24th. Is anyone going to Central Campus? I haven't heard much about what books we will actually need. I know we will definitely need both Perry and Potter as well as Lewis. Is anyone purchasing the print/e-book package from the school? At first I thought it was a great idea, but once I added everything up it seemed a bit much. I think I'll just buy the important books and wait till class starts to find out about the rest. Anyone have any info?

Yes the book list is in here. Its the same one for 2011-2012. I'm waiting for financial aid to come through before getting my books. Haven't decided if I wanted to buy them in the pack or buy then separately

I have been hearing that the bundle is not necessary because some of the books we do not even use.So I am thinking about purchasing just the important ones first

Oh ok do you know which ones the important ones are?? I have the perry potter book already. Got it on amazon for like $20.

Im not sure yet I know the perry and potter is needed for sure.Did u get the 7th or 8th edition?

7th , thats the one we need for south according to the orientation packet. I bought the book in the early summer

O ok the bookstore list said the 8th on the BC website but if its the 7th thats good

oh okay then. Well,I'm doing the same and financial just kicked in for me today so double check yours and see.

Is your balance due paid for or is it still there because my Award is posted but it is still saying I have a balance due?

Mine said $0.00 due and financial aid paid it in full amount. So I dont know, call financial aid and find out
