Broward College August 2012

Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

I went to the financial aid office and they said I could only receive up to $2000 in unsubsidized loan for the nursing program half for fall and the other half for winter because I am a Dependent student. That is not enough for tuition and books. I did the scholarship form but I have not heard back from them. Can any one help? I am also a Miami Dade county resident.

I am not 100% sure but I don't think WIA is available for Miami-Dade residents.

Regarding the scholarships from BCC...I received $500.00. It is GPA and early registration based.

Also do some research online, scholarships are available...I have a list of some that open beginning December.

I only got scrub tops the bottoms there are not exactly the same blue as the top and they are not the same brand. I'm getting bottoms from the same brand as the tops and in the same style as the ones in the bookstore, much cheaper too.

The most recent list of books was not ready yet when I went there last week.

Ok thank you i will get the tops and get the bottoms somewhere else.I also wanted to start on the reading but I guess we have to wait till they update the book list

Got Cherokee 4100 unisex drawstring bottoms for 12.99 on amazon. I bought the 7th edition of the perry potter book on amazon for about $10 including shipping. I've been reading it, I really don't think there are major differences between the editions. You could also check the library for a version of the perry potter text.

Royal blue, thats the color on the tag of the tops.
