Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

I think I might be. I already bought it a couple months ago and my loan hasn't been credited so more than likely that's what I'm going to use if my classes don't get dropped

Same for me. They changed my payment due date to the 23rd though. As someone said earlier, they are really not setting us up for success.

This is crazy we can not even get our books.I think it is only students with loans that is going threw this.

Did anybody get another email with an assignment due for friday or do you have any info on D2L? Just read on the facebook group that one said he did and has D2L info.

It's not fair. If I can't get my books till the 23rd how am I supposed to read 6 chapters by the 24th?! Absolutely insane that they can't get this together!

So I just got a call from the Nursing department saying if classes are not paid for Friday you can not come to class.WoW

I do not have a loan yet either. I put mine on a credit card. They said that I would get paid when the drop date passed. Here's hoping.

Oh WOW... I am reading your posts and I see that everyone with loans have the same problem. I have loans too and I haven't had my classes paid for yet either. However I was told to still show up to class (I'm doing Preq's I'm not in the Nursing Program yet). I pray you guys get your loan packages, and that they HURRY up this take care of this especially for all Nursing students that are relying on the loans. This is so riduclous. Hang in there ladies. Don't give up pray & that we all will get our loans. :)
