Broward College August 2012

Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

Oh WOW...:uhoh3: I am reading your posts and I see that everyone with loans have the same problem. I have loans too and I haven't had my classes paid for yet either. However I was told to still show up to class (I'm doing Preq's I'm not in the Nursing Program yet). I pray you guys get your loan packages, and that they HURRY up this take care of this especially for all Nursing students that are relying on the loans. This is so riduclous. Hang in there ladies. Don't give up pray & that we all will get our loans. :)

I've given up worrying about thus loan situation. If it goes through, thats great , if it doesn't I'll do Stats and nutrition to apply for Jan here or at FAU. No use in stressing about things I can't change. I have 4.0 in the new requirements and all this loan and finaid stuff will be settled by then. Everything happens for a reason.

I talked to someone in Health Science admission she told me that the Nursing Department has been notified about the problem and they are waiting to see what happens.

Can't believe this is happening, Thank God my classes are paid for, but I need my books! And others need to pay for there classes!

Did anyone hear anything as to whats going on, and when can we expect our funds to be available to us

Im attending south

I asked which campus you are attending because I wanted to make sure to give you the appropriate advice. I am attending north campus and we will not use the med/surg book. I am not sure about south... but something tells me, at this point, it will be the same as north campus.

For south the med surg notes are recommended not required according to the orientation packet.

I wish I had my own funds to pay for the these classes and books but like alot of other people I am not rich.It is sad what many of us are going threw right now with Financial Aid.

Hi my north campus ppls I wantedto know if any1 has seen gbrickman"s page and has any1 seen the calenders for what the reading material was going to be, and this may sound dumb but i really want to make sure, are we in uniform or regular clothes the 1st day?
