Broward College August 2012

Hi! This is a thread for anyone applying for August 2012 class at Broward College for the generic nursing track. I deferred my seat so I will be starting in August. I haven't decided if I want to go to central or south yet.. I'm super excited about starting in August! If I could help anyone with anything feel free to ask! :)

My status still says "Decision Deferred" too. I hope it changes soon!

Veropapi, I would keep checking your email and status to see if it changes. Like laquain99 said, people may defer for various reasons and maybe some seats will open up. I'm not counting on it but it doesn't hurt to check. Registration for January starts July 15 so I'm going to do that as well.

my status is the same and no letter i assume they only sent out the denial letters. next week i guess we will hear something.

hi everyone! i visit this site occasionally and think its a great group! i applied for the program and now my status says pre program applicatino. Anyone knows what that means?

Mine also still says decision deferred.

I took all of those classes at Sheridan Voc. Tech. - it is a complete 90hrs. and its online. I took it there and it worked out well. The fee was $275 and that included the CPR, HIV, HIPPA, Medical errors...EVERYTHING. I'm not sure where you live because you do have to go to the school 2x (once for CPR and another time for the lab portion like PPE, handwashing...ect...) or how the dates will work out for you but it is worth checking into. The course there is called HEALTH CORE. GOOD LUCK! I'm pre admission also so see you at orientation!! :w00t:
