Broward College August 2011

Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?

good luck with micro! at least you will have something to occupy your mind will waiting for the admission decision :) I think I will lose my mind waiting..lol

I am not going nuts checking now because I know that the grades have not been posted. But once those grades are up I could see myself checking the site a few times per day :)

Hey everyone! I took the HESI today and found it to be pretty straight forward if you studied the HESI Study guide. Im glad its finally over :D. What a relief. Its application time!!!

Woohoo congrats!! I remember the weight off my shoulders when I took the HESI! Broward is posting the grades tomorrow afternoon. Then the anxious waiting begins! :lol2:

Thank you Sunshine! Its crazy how fast this semester has gone by and now we are about to find out if we get into the August program. :yeah: EXCITING!!

I just checked and our grades have been posted!!! :D Now we just have to wait to see if we get accepted!! Good luck!:yeah:

So I dropped of my application at central and they told me that the deadline has been extended until May 27th. I am assuming that means they need more people to apply.

Good to know! That means they have an additional 3 weeks to get back to us LOL! I sent them an email this morning because my pre-req's are still showing as not completed. Hopefully someone will get back to me. I hate the waiting game!! :eek: Thanks for the info girl :)

Where do you check this info? I want to verify my info is complete as well

When you sign in to the BC website, you will see a tab in the lower left hand side that says Limited Status Application or something like that. If you click there it will tell you if you are missing anything and what your status is.

I just got a response email letting me know that everyone that was missing grades from the winter term will be updated in a week. At least I know they are working on it. I feel a little bit better :) :D

yeah when I went in the lady had a stack of apps in front of her entering info in the computer
