Hi guys, is anyone else working towards starting the nursing program at BC in August 2011? I am working on my last pre-reqs this semester (spring 11) and then apply and hopefully get accepted for the fall semester. I just took and passed the hesi exam last night and that is one big load off my back. I also started my hep shots since it takes 3 rounds of shots and a total of 6 months to be fully immunized. I want to have all of my ducks in order to start the program. I am undecided whether to go to south or central campus. Any advice?
you're welcome
@littlegirlblue...good information sharing.....hope you land the $6,000 grant which would be enough to cover the program cost at bc. when i went through this process; if was not that hard getting the grant. (well also considering i was on unemployment). i was actually first planning on doing the lpn program back then at mcfatter tech center and when my workforce counselor realized that i was only missing my science prerequisites to apply for the rn program he encourage me to aim higher and go for my rn, which i did!!!!!!

I'm a missing something here???im very scared now... Everyone is buying stuff and doing things I'm just waiting for the 14 so they can tell me the next step.
I have no $ so I'm waiting on financial aid to purchase scrubs and books.
I hear alot of workforce; does this mean u guys didn't qualify for financial aid? Sorry for asking I'm just lost
Right now! Should I be doing shots or something else now?
No I haven't been awarded but according to them in lue of my finances I will be awarded enough to cover
Books tuition and maybe some left over. I think they award depending on how soon u applied for. Deadline is July 15. I had it done since last week so it takes aprox 30 days.
I wish I had $ to start doing all the stuff I see people here are doing breeding book and stuff. I even saw people getting shots too!
I'm a cna already so hopefully process won't be so hard
